Hospital Policies


Appointment Policy

We are a veterinary hospital dedicated solely to birds. Referral clients are welcome, however appointments are preferred. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments.


Patient Arrival Policy

For the safety of your bird and the comfort of others, please bring your bird in a carrier or an appropriate sized cage. If your bird is being seen for a second opinion or on a referral basis, please bring all pertinent records and medications along for the doctor's review.



If your bird is boarding, please note that our space limitations do not generally permit us to keep your cage with your bird. Toys, perches, furniture, and any special foods or treats are welcome to make your bird's stay more comfortable.


Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, ATM/Debit cards, CareCredit and cash. We do not accept personal checks or American Express.


Privacy Policy

We do not collect or give out any information to any third party vendors or internet businesses.  No information will ever be disclosed to outside parties from us or our web site hosting company at eVetSites by VINIt's that simple! And we strictly adhere to this policy.

Medical Center for Birds recognizes the importance of protecting the personal privacy of its clients, its patients and those individuals who simply visit our site. Your privacy is also protected in our hospital.  At no time is any information given out about the client or the pet without the consent of the owner.
